Empowering Students to Teach the World

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Allowing students to teach the world provides opportunities that truly engages students in their own learning. Effectively incorporating educational technology into classrooms can empower students with the ability to reach others outside of their own community. Attendees to this session will learn multiple ways for students to connect with others around the world through mystery hangouts (which are not limited to only state locations!), publish their own thoughts and ideas in creative ways that are not just limited to blogs, and curate content to help others learn via websites such as Google MyMaps. Participants will leave this session feeling prepared and confident to provide new and exciting learning opportunities for students.
